An incremental approach to care
At SageHaus Living we want and encourage our residents to live an independent life as possible for as long as possible. We are not a care home but a retirement community that allows our residents to enjoy their lives with the comfort that if their health or circumstances do change then we can accommodate them at every stage with an increasing level of bespoke care.
Our care packages are broken down into three incremental offerings:
1. Independent Care
The independent care package is an affordable option focused around preventative measures and the latest technology. It is aimed at our residents who are fit and healthy but provides peace of mind that they can access that little bit of extra help if needs be or the reassurance that in an emergency their needs can be met.
All our homes are single level and highly accessible (Building Regulation Part M4 (3) compliant) thus minimising accidents at home.
All our homes utilise the latest smart technology for Later Living. Our Sentinel SmartLINK hub is a holistic solution that monitors the running of services in our homes as well as the wellbeing of its occupant.
Sentinel SmartLink is connected to 24 hour emergency call alarms and monitors to ensure residents are protected in their home should they fall or become ill.
Sentinel SmartLink also provides:
- Temperature and appliance monitoring
- Communal digital notice board
- Remote door unlocking or opening
In partnership with Oak Retirement we can offer a remote concierge service for our clients that aims to relieve the burden of daily tasks and enhance everyday lifestyle.
The majority of our retirement villages have a warden on site to help answer estate management and property maintenance issues if they arise.
2. Domicillary Care
Through our award winning and CQC registered care partner, Oak Retirement we are able to provide domiciliary care services at all SageHaus living villages. A range of expert and personalised home care services are provided by highly trained and skilled carers, registered nurses and clinical experts that mean our residents can be cared for in the comfort and familiarity of their own SageHaus home.
It may be physical tasks such as housekeeping, meal preparation and personal care or mobility support whilst out and about in the local community.
The visiting care package is designed by a team of expert registered nurses around our residents specific needs.
Residents decide the frequency and intensity of our carers visits. From one hour a week to daily care - a completely bespoke and economic plan.
With regular inspections of our care services conducted by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) a high quality of care is guarenteed.
Our Care partner, Oak Retirement has regional offices that serve all of our UK retirement villages. So high quality care is guaranteed wherever you are.
3. Live-in Care
Through our award winning and CQC registered care partner Oak Retirement we are also able to provide full time live in care services. All SageHaus Living homes are built with two bedrooms as standard meaning a live in carer can be easily accommodated.
With live-in care, one of our partners dedicated carers will live in our residents home to provide round-the-clock support.
Residents who's care needs may have reached a critical stage can receive one-to-one specialist 24 hour care whilst staying in their own home.
Unlike a care home our residents can create a bespoke care timetable and routine that perfectly fits their needs and preferences.
The Oak Retirement managed live in service is judged ‘Outstanding’ in all five categories for being safe, effective, caring, well-led and responsive.
Live in care provides a complete care service providing the reassurance to our residents and their loved ones that their needs, however critical, can be met.
