Headline statistics as below:
- Almost two thirds of over-65s want bungalow built exclusively for older home-buyers .
- There are about 2 million bungalows in the UK – with just 2,418 built in 2018.
- More than 12 million over-65s in the UK and this could rise by 8.2m by 2068.
- Millions unable to downsize due to house shortages, according YouGov survey.
